With a dedicated team of scientists, engineers and developers we are pushing quantum technology to support experimentalists worldwide with our scalable and low-latency qubit control and readout equipment (from ultrastable DC to 18.5 GHz, for academic and industrial quantum labs). In addition to scalable control hardware, we have created state-of-the-art control software – Quantify, an open-source python framework that can be used to control quantum computers and experimental setups.
Your Mission:
Qblox is looking for a lead to help us improve processes around the production of our quantum control stacks. These quantum control stacks generate the analog signals needed for the control and readout of quantum bits, the fundamental building blocks of quantum computers and networks. Our products have until now, with exception of the PCB assemblies, been assembled in house. As our sales grow, we are looking for an operations manager that can help us to outsource and manage the production with external partners. You will work closely with our engineering and sales team to make sure production is scheduled in order to meet our delivery timelines. Furthermore, you will help define quality standards and design and implement processes to guarantee our hardware is manufactured according to it.
Your Profile:
You are required to have at least five years of experience working in an operational environment doing:
- Interaction with EMS partner and other suppliers for the production of PCBA’s
- Forecasting demand and manage the supply chain accordingly
- Structure internal production and help outsource (sub)assembly work where possible
- Design and implement processes and tests to guarantee production with a high level of quality
