Your responsibilities:
- Define test strategies & implement PCM structures for optical & electrical wafer level testing.
- Definition and execute optical characterization of Photonic Integrated Circuits.
- Define Design of Experiments for testing.
- Set-up of automated chip and wafer level testing including recipes, data analysis, data management.
- Process documentation and employee training.
- Develop and maintain a network of characterisation and testing partners.
- Support sales, quality and production.
Your profile:
- Higher Degree in physics, electrical engineering or related field.
- Min of 5 years hand-on experience in integrated photonics, namely in characterization of Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs).
- Hand-on experience in test automation is a strong plus.
- Experience with Six Sigma, SPC and general quality tools is a strong plus.
- Understanding of photonic design and nanoengineering / semiconductor processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of Python is a plus.
- Open minded, communicative, critical thinker.
- Solution and goal oriented.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Work/residence permit for Switzerland or Swiss/EU citizenship.
- Working proficiency in English.
